As a thank you note, and as a holiday greeting, I would like to share with you the project I've been working on during the last week of the semester. It is a house projection display I did on my house to spread the joy of Christmas in my neighborhood. Sorry for the quality, my camcorder is afraid of darkness.

Thank you everybody for advising, teaching and influencing me during this class. I enjoyed the process; hope it wasn't a bore for you too.

I thought to start making landscaping, but I was concerned with interior spaces, so I made a few rough renderings to see if there is a potential for comfort.
Spaces, and camera direction.

2. Rollerblading space; looking East.
3. Outdoor Hangout Space; looking East.
4. Looking NE; Gym is across, Rollerblading space below.

8. Looking from Auditorium, NE, down towards the Gym.

My first 'more or less' successful massing had interesting transitions between slabs. I wanted to preserve that in my final massing. So I mixed glazing approach from my previous two attempts.
It took a lot of meticulousness to manipulate hundreds of splines... I wish, when I grow up, I could do it smarter.
My next step will be development of the site.
Have a holiday blast!!!... I'll post on the other side.

Before I make plans more detailed, and integrate surrounding area into the overall feel, I want to figure out new skin of the building. Its form as organic and plastic as the circulation; it is dipped and raised on the South side more to protect spaces from excessive Sun; it functions as a railing as well.
Structure of the building
... with strip of edging
... and surface of the future glazing

(ramp isn't complete, glazing isn't precise and isn't as organic as I want it to be, staircase is a mess)
